Luke 6:37
‘Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven.’
Kelly was unbearable. She had lost thirty pounds with relative ease, so she ridiculed anyone who couldn’t do it as easily as she had. Kelly wasn’t being fair. Every person is different. It didn’t mean that others weren’t as committed or as dedicated as Kelly had been. It was frustrating to try so hard and then have Kelly make fun of you for it. Why couldn’t she have a little compassion? After all, she had been obese once! After losing weight, we should be more compassionate than anyone else. It is important to remember how hard losing weight really is. We have a wonderful opportunity to help others when we keep in mind what we’ve come through.
Today’s thought: I hope I can lose my weight without losing my sensitivity toward others!

From tomorrow onwards, I need to be on a work mode already. My brother’s family is already leaving to Malaysia and so we are back to our normal routine. Hopefully I could get back to my daily exercise and diet.
For almost a month now, I haven’t watched my diet and haven’t been exercising. It’s really difficult to go on a diet with guests around. Because it’s like there’s always a reason to celebrate.. with food! We’ve been eating out and taking meals with Coke!!.. Who can resist Durian with matching coke? We’ve been eating durian for many days! We’ve had our ’seafood’ feasts, pizza party and chips galore! Yeah..yeah.. it has been a great but unhealthy month I know. LOL! I haven’t even dared to weight myself for weeks now since I know it will spell bad news. Do you think I need to try Appesat and those famous Weight Loss pills? But with so many of these in the market, there’s no way of knowing which one will be effective for me or which one won’t have negative side effects. So, I guess let me stick to the classic formula which is diet and exercise.
So, hopefully… hopefully my system can easily switch to Diet Mode and Exercise Mode.

Revelation 21:3
And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, ‘Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.’
Cathy decided to make a contract with God rather than a promise to herself. She vowed that she would lose weight for Him, not for any vain or selfish reason she could come up with. Somehow it was easier to do for God than it had been for herself. The pounds melted more quickly. Cathy continued her diet with regular prayer and recommitment to the promise she made to God. Before long, Kathy had lost all the weight she set out to lose. Our promises to God are very important. Often we can do for Him what we fail at for ourselves. God has promised to help us whenever we need Him. He will help us lose weight.
Today’s thought: My diet is more than a wish; it is a promise to God.

I know that Christmas 2011 is still far behind.. Christmas 2010 is even still 4 months away. But I can’t help to look forward for this Christmas because our family is planning to spend Christmas in the Philippines ( God willing). On this Christmas, my brother’s family is also coming home so, this means this will be the first Christmas that we will all be together. And added to the excitement is the wedding of my cousin in which my son will take part as one of the entourage. Exciting isn’t? But yes, that’s still so far but I just love to spend Christmas in the Philippines, to spend time with family, enjoy the festivities and the great C7 led christmas lights that decorate some shops.

If you ask me right now, what’s my cel lphone number, I won’t be able to answer you. I would have to scroll through my phone’s contact list and see it first. That is because I don’t use my cell phone very often. I usually just use it more when Hubby is away to Malaysia. It’s cheaper to send sms to Malaysia while on the other hand, it’ll be cheaper for him to call to a cell phone.
Anyways, because I’m not a cell phone fanatic as of this time, I have the cheapest, simplest phone in the market. I didn’t have to browse through any cell phone reviews since it’s not my main tool of communication.

My digital scale got broken..
I actually put it inside our kitchen under one of the cabinets so, as my kids won’t be able to play with it. But then, we had some plumbing and drainage problem with our kitchen and so the scale got wet.
I’m actually quite relieved since I know I can’t check my weight this time ( coz I know I gained a lot of weight) but then, I’m sad because it means my money has been wasted. I only got to use that scale a few times.

Romans 2:11
For there is no respect of persons with God.
Andrea was furious. She hadn’t wanted to go on the hike in the first place, and now she was falling farther and farther behind. No one would give her time to catch up. Some of them were even laughing at her. It wasn’t her fault she wasn’t in good physical condition. She had to carry around a lot more weight than they did. It just wasn’t fair. In this life, we don’t get a lot of breaks. Just because we’re overweight doesn’t mean we deserve special treatment. God doesn’t give preferential treatment. He wants all of His children to be the best they can possibly be. He expects us all to do our best.
Today’s thought: I am trying my best to please God!

Hubby and I are planning to go for a regular medical check up. It’s not that we are feeling anything or what but it’s good to know how we fare in the ‘health department’. It’s even ideal to have an annual check up. My last check up was almost 2 years back and I remember that my cholesterol level was almost at the borderline. I wonder what’s my cholesterol level now. I have been having a healthy diet for awhile until I took a break and since then I haven’t gone back to it yet.
Anyways, hope we can push through our medical check up soon. We will have to see the costs for this in other hospital. My brother just had his check up in Bangkok Hat Yai and their package price was reasonable. This hospital is actually known best for its service with most of their nurses and doctors that can speak English very well. The nurses also wear great looking scrubs. I wonder if those are Cherokee Scrubs or baby phat scrubs. The Bangkok Hat Yai hospital ambience is also really great, for awhile you would think you’re inside the hotel with the sound of the grand piano at the background.

We are having some plumbing and drainage problems here at our home. We were already planning to move to another house but we wanted to talk to our house owner first. I appreciate that our house owner is really concerned for our family and he promised to do everything he can, so as to help us. After talking to my husband today, he told us that his last option will be to renovate the house if he could ( by raising the flooring) just so we won’t have to move away. He said, he really wants us to stay and be his house tenants. That’s so nice of our house owner, and I really believe everything he says since he seems very kind and sincere. I think if we request for DuraMax YardMate Vinyl Storage Shed 00711 , he would gladly to that for us too.

John 1:5
And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.
Rusty scared herself. She walked past the mirror in the dim light of dusk and thought there was a stranger in the house. How had she gotten so big? Who was she kidding? She kept telling herself that she wasn’t that big, but it was so bad she didn’t recognize her-self in the mirror. It was like a revelation: a bright light shining through the darkness. She had to do something about her weight. Determined, she set out to lose the weight she had gained, and with God’s help, she was able to do just that.
Today’s thought: I want to find out just how good I can look!
