Good Results

Good Results

Thank God for Hubby got good results from his recent medical check up! We were quite worried about the pain that he has been experiencing for sometime and we’ve been praying that it’s nothing serious. And sure enough, God answered our prayer and there was nothing to worry about. After the check up, Hubby and I have made a ‘pact’ to seriously work on our health.

Hubby has been consistently doing the water therapy now while I still have to start ( yet again) with juicing. To celebrate with Hubby’s good check up results, it’ll be nice to have some kind of  custom coin for this, but we only had dinner with family with hearts full of thanksgiving. :)

No. 1 in Malaysia

No. 1 in Malaysia

Guess what ranks number 1 as the cause of deaths here in Malaysia? I heard it’s diabetes. The TV, newspapers and signs everywhere are geared to warn people aga inst diabetes and obesity. They’re asking people to be more active, cut down rice and sugar. I don’t really see a lot of obese people here but as I was waiting for Hubby in the car one time I did notice that almost everyone who passes by are bringing packets of food and drinks with them. It does seem that food plays a very important part of their life or culture.

I sure hope that people will be more careful with diabetes because it’s one nasty disease. There are medicines that are available now for this disease but one has to be careful too as more people are looking for actos law firms  to fight for their case against Actos ( medicine for diabetes).

Anyways, I wonder what ranks as the number 1 disease in the Philippines.

Carrot Juice Recipe

Carrot Juice Recipe

I love carrot juice! My taste buds still refuse the mean green juice so, I’m sticking to carrot juice as my staple juice. Here’s  how I do my carrot juice.

7 medium/large size carrots

2 medium size apples

1 pear

1 orange

Put all in the juicer and serve with ice.

This can serve up to 4 big glasses of carrot juice.
