My Defective Scale

My Defective Scale

I think my scale is defective. It gives me different numbers everytime I weigh myself on it. Imagine my shock when I saw a 2 kilo ‘gain’ only 3 hours after I last weighed in. LOL!

So now, I’m at lost whether I lost or even gained weight. But I’m actually planning something on my ‘weight lose journey’ to somehow give me a boost on weight lose.

I have the whole week to think over it, plan and prepare myself for it. I just hope that it’ll work this time.

Spark Points

Spark Points

I’ve been logging in quite frequently in Sparkspeople.com in the past 2 weeks. I think this is the site that’s replacing my ‘facebook fever’ now. It’s quite a good thing because at least I’m learning a lot of things about health and fitness.

It’s actually fun to be in Sparkpeople. There seems to be so much things to read and do when you’re in the site. There are blogs to read, forums to join, food/exercise tracks you have to fill up, videos, articles and so on and so forth.

What adds up the fun is the ‘winning’ of medals, trophies and plaques as you progress and collect  ‘Spark Points’. I currently have a silver medal now.. but as I saw the stages, it seems I still have a long way to go to get the ‘Golden Crown’. LOL!

Anyways, I’m enjoying my time at Sparkpeople and while I’m on my  journey to fitness, I guess I  be won’t be around Facebook much during these days.

Snacking at Midnight

Snacking at Midnight

I’ve been doing quite good for more than a week now. I’ve been quite regular with my water, fruits/veggies and exercise. These were some of my goals while I’m starting with my healthy lifestyle.

So far I haven’t seen a considerable amount of weight loss. Though I’m not so happy about it but I’m trying to be okay with it since I’m building habits and I’m not on a ‘diet’.

One thing that I really want to do ( hopefully next week) is to stop myself from eating at midnight. It has become a (bad) habit for me and Hubby to just relax, chit chat over coffee and bread (sometimes RICE meal) once our kids are all in dreamland. It’s a time for us to relax and reconnect but it’s making me fat! What to do??

Anyways, next week I will definitely work on ‘giving up’ midnight snacking. I’m sure then  my calorie intake will not go overboard and store more fat on my waist.
