Not Easy to be Sick

Not Easy to be Sick

I don’t get sick quite often. I think in a year, I could have a slight fever for a day or two and then I’ll be fine. But just two weeks ago, I had a terrible flu. I had to isolate myself and sleep separately at night so my Hubby and kids won’t get my flu and I was also chilling. Oh, those were difficult sleepless nights. And I’m just so thankful to God that I got better after I took my flu medicine.

But that was not the end of the story. After I got the flu, my Hubby and kids also got it. So, we ended up making several trips to the hospital and boy, our hospital bills were really high. And since those were outpatient medication, they weren’t covered by our insurance company. Sometimes I wish that I have medicare supplement plans to cover for our other medical expenses but then, I’m still thankful of God’s provision even for our medical bills.

Initial Christmas Shopping

Initial Christmas Shopping

A few more days to go and we will be going home to my Malaysia. Oh, we haven’t finished shopping for Christmas gifts yet. At least we’re done buying for the kids and the men. Now, we will have to make one last trip to the mall to buy some women’s apparel for my sis in laws. And speaking of Christmas presents, I haven’t bought any for my Hubby yet. Hehehe!

Being Sporty

Being Sporty

I’m not much of a sporty kind  of person, though I love the outdoors and like to do camping and other adventures. If we get a chance to go back home next year, I would want to try the Zip Line in Dahilayan. It’s been awhile since we did a bit of  ‘adventure’ and it would be refreshing to do one. Our city now offers a lot of fun and adventure stuff from river rafting to zorbing. I wonder if they have ATV racing using  Polaris Sportsman ATV Parts  .
