Still Sedentary

Still Sedentary

I was regularly doing my exercise a few weeks ago, then I stopped when we went to travel to Malaysia. We were there for more than a week. And it’s already more than a week since we arrived but I  haven’t started back with it yet. haayy..

I’m back to my sedentary life again where I just sit with my laptop while I do my online work.  If laptops could help in burning fats, I’m sure I’ve could have burned a lot by now. LOL! Anyways, I have to get back to exercise once again and hopefully we won’t have future trips that would break my exercise routines once again.

Summer Time!

Summer Time!

Summer is here indeed! Most kids are getting entertained by their parents with a lot of summer lessons. Painting lessons, english lessons, swimming lessons, taekwondo and etc. Name it and there will surely be summer classes offered for your kids for that.

In the malls, there are ongoing sale for summer beach and sports items, such as the swim wears, beach balls, swim caps and etc. For sports equipment,  basketballs, ping pong tables and all the other stuff are on sale too.

But with this kind of heat ( especially outside), I’d rather let me kids stay at home and we’ll do our own indoor activities.

Devotion for Dieters – March 26

Devotion for Dieters – March 26

Deuteronomy 33:27
The eternal God is thy refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms: and he shall thrust out the enemy from before thee: and shall say, ‘Destroy them.’

It’s strange to think of food as ‘the enemy,’ but that’s the best way to look at it if we want to be effective in our diets. Taking off the pounds is a battle. In every battle we need ammunition. As Christ-ians, our ammunition comes from the Spirit of God that dwells within us all the time. God becomes our fortress; our refuge against the assaults of fattening foods. If we think we can fight the battle alone, we will find it doesn’t take long before we tire. At those times we will wish we had someone to take over. Thank the Lord that God is there, and He never tires of fighting alongside His children.

Today’s thought: Dieting makes losers winners!
