Devotion for Dieters- March 29

Hebrews 13:6
So that we may boldly say, ‘The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.’

In a prison camp, the people were starved for long periods of time. One man seemed unaffected by the treatment he received. While others complained about how hungry they were, this one man stood by silently. Finally, he was asked why he seemed to be doing so well while the others all suffered so. He replied, ‘I will not let my captors get the better of me. No matter what they do, they will not wear me down. I am the Lord’s, and no one else has any power over my life. Men may take away my food, but only God can truly sustain me.’

Today’s thought: The need for bread is all in the head!

From Waste to Energy

From Waste to Energy

I’ve just read an article a company that has discovered to convert a  wastewater sludge and other bio-organic wastes into biomineral agricultural and soil-enrichment products with real market value. I’m really amazed by such technology. And what was even more amazing about this is that they are also expanding and sharing this technology to other municipalities and private companies. Yes, they will also develop and license the technology for them.

This technology will really be very beneficial to the companies and different municipalities. For more information, visit the site at http://www.nviro.com .

Atkins On Hold

Atkins On Hold

I was so motivated and excited to start my Atkins diet. We went to the grocery and bought all the vegetables and meat. And then, I got sick. So, I had to put off my diet for a days. After I have recovered physically, I also felt so stressed and emotionally drained. That was another reason for me to put it off again.

Hmmm.. when can I start this diet again? I guess I have to wait for awhile again….or maybe I’ll just have to proceed with my second option..
