What’s Next?

After I’ve succeeded and failed my most recent diet, what’s next?

I do think I’m done with the quick scheme of fad diets for now. You do lose weight with these diets so fast but the weight goes back faster too. Hmmph! I would have to try the ‘slow and sure’ way of losing weight  and that is through diet and exercise.

Diet and exercise. Wow! These two words are so easy to blurt out from our lips but so hard to do.

I can’t help but chuckle every time I remember my friend’s post about the poster they saw in one of the international hospitals in Bangkok. That hospital is famous for plastic surgery and sex change. So, she was asking the readers in her blog whether anyone wants a major make over.

I didn’t know that Thailand is actually famous all over the world for plastic cosmetic surgery. They are considered to be high tech in this field and and the same time offer the cheapest rates. My Hubby used to have a male student and was so surprised to see him in the street with his face and voice completely changed. It was indeed a major change because my Hubby couldn’t recognize him anymore. The student had to remind my Hubby the time he studied with him and who his classmates were.

Hospital rates and routine tests are not also expensive here considering that they have superb customer service. They have all sorts of tests like  blood tests,  Anonymous Herpes Testing , HIV tests and etc.

Oh that’s such a contradicting and confusing title for a blog post. But that’s how I feel right now. You see, I’ve successfully finished my 10 day diet (actually it was supposedly 12 days but I had to cut it short) and lost 2 kgs. But with a lot of parties and food for the past week, I’ve gained back 1.5 kgs.

Oh, I’ll never do that again… :( I’ve struggled so much in the past 10 days doing my low carbo and no sugar diet. And it only took a few days for the weight to creep back in.

I guess I have no choice now but to go back to square one. Try to lose weight slowly but surely through proper nutrition and exercise. Oh, when will I learn?
