Planning Session

Planning Session

My Hubby and I had just finishing  our planning session. Summer break is just around the corner and with a lot of things in between like conferences and visa application, we have to plan our schedules accordingly and so with our upcoming classes at the center.

Oh, the work seems to be overwhelming considering that there are only two workers left now in the center. I’m very much willing to help them out but then I have to stay home and watch over the kids. I guess I only have to wait for a little while before my kids can be more independent and I will be able to do more work.

With the center’s change of manager and its new move, the files and documents have to be sorted out again. I wish that there’s an easy way out for this like hiring a data management solutions firm to help us with our data and programs.

Devotion For Dieters- February 23

Devotion For Dieters- February 23

Proverbs 18:10
The name of the Lord is a strong tower: the righteous runneth into it, and is safe.

Kate was so thankful that Dennis was willing to spend time with her. Since she started her diet, Kate had tried everything in her power to keep from being alone. When she was alone, she ate. When she was with friends, she didn’t feel the need quite as strongly. When she was with friends who understood her, they helped her keep her mind off food. Dennis was one of those understanding friends. He would talk and laugh and make her forget all about eating. He made himself available as much as he could, and Kate was truly grateful. She felt he was a fortress she could run to, where she would be safe from the temptations of food and drink.

Today’s thought: God gives us places of refuge when we tire!

Aero-Kae-Bo

Aero-Kae-Bo

Have you heard about Aero-Kae-Bo before? Actually, I’ve just learned about this new word today as I was browsing through my exercise dvd.

Aero-kae-bo actually stands for Aerobics, Karate and Boxing rolled into one. It’s one of the newest exercise routine to make one fit and healthy.  I guess this is almost like Tae-Bo or Aero Boxing.

I haven’t tried to follow the Aero-kae-bo exercise routine yet but maybe I’ll have to do that after I’m bored with my other exercise dvds. The Aero-Kae-bo  dvd looks very interesting but I’m afraid that maybe after following their moves, I might become one of the future light heavyweight mma fighters . Just kidding! But hey, why not, I’ve read a lot of weight loss success stories where they were so fat, started jogging to lose weight and at the end became a serious runner. There were those who also did a bit of strength training but later became serious with it and they became professional body builders. Hmm..
