Exercise

I’ve started back exercising after realizing that indeed there are no short cuts to weight loss.

It’s really quite obvious that I’m not as fit as I used to be anymore because I’m usually left panting even during the start of the exercise routine. At the middle of the routine, I usually have to stop to gasp for air. The exercise isn’t that strenuous  but it seems like I needed the help of the finger pulse oximeter to monitor my oxygenation. :)

But kidding aside, I’m sure I’ll get over this once I do my exercises regularly and I’ll be as fit as ever.. just like the image in my template. ;)

Green Bags

Plastic bags..plastic bags..

I’m keeping all our used plastics in the hope of recycling them in the future. It’s quite a surprise that Thailand ( as far as I know)  has not yet gone to the efforts of using the green bags or  to replace the plastic bags.

I remember our trip to Hong Kong last year where people will bringing their custom tote bags to the malls. They really discourage people to use the plastic bags.  I’ve also seen that Penang and some malls in the Philippines have also introduced the No Plastic Bag day when you have to bring your own bag or else you buy the plastic bags.

If countries all over the world will do these, I’m sure that our world will really go a long way.

New Rules for Dieting

I found this in Facebook and would want to repost it here. These new rules somehow rings true to me especially at this time when I’ve lost my momentum of doing ‘diets’.

New Rules For Dieting

  1. Two diets are better than one.
  2. If you hand over the chocolate, nobody gets hurt.
  3. Diets always start tomorrow.
  4. Bathroom scales can lie.
  5. Thin is not happy- just boney.
  6. Too little food= an empty balloon
  7. Remember fat is happy and sexy
  8. Make love not war.
  9. If all else fail, EAT

Funny huh?.. I know what I’ll become if I follow this new diet rules. ;)
