Exercise Day 1

Exercise Day 1

It’s funny how I included ‘exercise’ as part of my daily routine at the start of the year, but was only able to DO IT today! And it’s already almost the end of the month! Hahah!

But it really feels good after several minutes of exercise. The struggle is actually on ‘getting up and exercising’ but once you’ve started the exercise, then it’s already fun. I hope this exercise thing of mine will have a continuation and will I will not get stuck with Day 1. LOL! Anyways, for the meantime let me do some housework, cleaning the roller shades errr ..washing our curtains and sweeping the floor. Now that’s a good exercise !

Devotion For Dieters- January 23

Devotion For Dieters- January 23

2 Samuel 22:21
The Lord rewarded me according to my righteousness: according to the cleanness of my hands hath he recompensed me.

Don’t expect God to make you thin. You have to do the hard part for yourself. Do know this, however: God will bless you beyond your wildest hopes if you will put forth your best effort and not give up. When we show Him that we really are serious about being better people, He is pleased beyond measure, and He will do all kinds of wonderful things to help us along. When we refuse to give into the temptations, to dirty our hands, then God will reward us and lift us up. All He asks is that we give it our very best effort. If we do that, we will succeed.

Today’s thought: God is pleased by my best effort to lose weight.

Grocery Blues

Grocery Blues

Going to the grocery used to be a very pleasant experience for us. Our li’l girl sits inside the trolley and reads a book while our li’l boy sits in his stroller, it’s not a Bob stroller but he used to be just so comfortable sitting still there.

But lately, we’ve noticed that our li’l boy isn’t contented in sitting still in his stroller anymore. He wants to walk.. err..run around the grocery too. So, everytime we try to contain him he will be having tantrums but if we also let him go, we can’t do our groceries properly because we’ll end up running after him while he touches everything in display.. arghh..

So, this has been our struggle whenever we go for our groceries, so Hubby tries his best to occupy him and make him entertained as he sit inside the trolley so he would forget going down to walk ( run).
