Businesses That Work

Businesses That Work

Are you a business person or a frustrated business person? I think I am the latter. I always wanted to create something new and make it as a business but I haven’t been brave enough to try it yet. Yes, it’s a bit scary though to venture into something new , invest a lot of money and ends up in failure. The safer side would be to get franchise opportunities and engaging in businesses that has been trusted and proven. But do franchise businesses also have that guaranteed success? Hmmm..

Devotion for Dieters – December 28

Devotion for Dieters – December 28

1 John 5:5
Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?

Burt couldn’t help but rub it in. Terry had claimed to have found the diet breakthrough of the century. He lost seven pounds. Greg got hold of some miracle pills, and he lost eleven pounds. Craig had mortgaged his house to buy a membership in a health club. He managed to lose fourteen pounds. Burt had simply told his friends he was going to lose weight on the Jesus plan. Whenever he got hun-gry between meals, he was going to go off and read the Gospels. They had all laughed long and hard at him, but he who laughs last, laughs best. Twenty-eight pounds had dropped because of the Jesus plan. There’s nothing like it.

Today’s thought: God can do for me what nothing on earth can!

Plans And Goals for 2010

Plans And Goals for 2010

We just finished drafting out our goals and plans for 2010. Not for our personal goals and plans though but for our work here in Thailand. After we submit this report, we will have to make our personal goals and plans for 2010 too. I really love to do planning and brainstorming but I usually find it quite challenge to implement those things that I’ve planned. But nothing beats the joy when I’ve achieved my goals or have implemented my plans. When I draft out my plans and goals, I usually concentrate on the different aspects of my life such as, spiritual, physical, financial, intellectual emotional, family and etc. It seems quite an exhaustive list huh? But I have to cater to all aspects of my life to achieve that certain ‘balance’. But still, I will have to learn to give priority on the things that matter most to me and that is doing things that has eternal value. I will talk about that next time.

Anyways, I’ll have to set a few days for planning and praying for my 2010. So, I think I won’t be online for the next few days and would have to postpone my research on cadillac accessories and other stuff.
