Call Centers

Call Centers

Call Centers in the Philippines are sprouting like mushrooms. Many of our friends and relatives are working for these call center companies. Thank God for these call centers too, they have given jobs to thousands of Filipinos based in the Philippines.

I’m not sure if these call centers are using like virtual ACD call center systems but it would be interesting to go into one of these companies and see how they go about their daily business. These call centers are actually up and about 24 hours a day so, their employees also go into different shifts. I have a friend who usually works on the graveyard shift and as result, becomes often sick and weak. I guess if you are into a career like this, you must be armed with a lot of vitamins, supplements and proper diet as your sleep pattern changes according to your shift. I’m not sure if I can do this kind of work but I salute those who work hard to earn a living and support their respective families.

Psalm 146:1, 8
Praise ye the Lord, Praise the Lord, O my soul. The Lord openeth the eyes of the blind: the Lord raiseth them that are bowed down: the Lord loveth the righteous.

Dick couldn’t believe everyone was against him. First, his wife started making comments about his weight. Next, it was his doctor. Now, his friends at the office. He looked the same as he always did. Why was everyone picking on him all of the sudden? Maybe he had gained a little, but that was just normal spread for a middle-aged man. He’d never worried about weight before, and he sure wasn’t planning to start worrying now. Sometimes we are too blind to see when we need to lose weight. Pride gets in the way, and we aren’t honest with ourselves. Ask God to help keep ego out of the way, and He will open your eyes to see what needs to be done.

Today’s thought: When it comes to weight, I won’t kid myself!

– My Thoughts–

Sometimes we get hurt when people comment about our looks and our weight but let us see it as a concern from them and not as a criticism. Remember, there is always an ounce of truth when people ‘criticize’ and therefore we should not hold it against them but be open for change and growth.

Effortless Ways to Lose Weight

Effortless Ways to Lose Weight

Proper Diet and Exercise. Those are the two factors that are important to be fit, healthy and trim. But there are a number of people who don’t have the time and discipline to do those things so they opt for the fast and effortless but mostly expensive ways.

One of the procedure I found out was gastric bypass in which a small, thumb-sized pouch from the upper stomach is created accompanied by bypass of the remaining stomach (about 400 mL and variable). Therefore, this restricts the volume of food which can be eaten and makes one immediately full even with only a spoon of food taken. This procedure is usually done for those who are morbidly obese. I’ve also found some before and after photos who have gone through this procedure and I could say that their bodies have indeed been transformed.

No, I’m not planning to go through gastric bypass. Thankfully, I’m not morbidly obese so, I won’t need one. But for those who are thinking of this procedure you better think hard and long as there are also some pyschological effects that may take place after the complete change in this body function. As I’ve learned, it’s advisable for people to go to a psychologist before doing this procedure and betterĀ  yet, go for more reputable liposuction cosmetic surgery in Chicago Illinois.
