Good Bye Neo Notebook!

Good Bye Neo Notebook!

My Hubby has just said good bye to his Neo Notebook that has been given to him several months ago. His notebook’s LCD cracked and can not be used anymore. We went around town to inquire on how much it would cost to repair it and we’re so disappointed to hear that we would have to spend 12-17T pesos to fix it. With that price, we can already buy a new netbook in Malaysia.

So, we decided to take out the notebook’s LCD and replace it with a new LCD monitor. So, my mom bought a new LCD monitor from the shop and they also took out the notebooks LCD. We then went to the electrical shop to buy some electrical supplies. And now, I’m already using it. We call it the SEMI laptop since it’s half laptop and half desktop. I’ll have to take a photo of this and post it.

Devotional for Dieters: November 22

Devotional for Dieters: November 22

Psalm 147:1, 3
Praise ye the Lord: for it is good to sing praises unto our God; for it is pleasant; and praise is comely. He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds.

It was more than a diet. For Gary, it was his sanity. He had been obsessed by his weight. He had lived the past three years in a deep and terrible depression. When he was at his lowest, God broke through to him. God turned Gary’s life around. He finally began losing weight, and his state of mind improved dramatically. The light of God tore through his darkness with a beautiful healing warmth. Gary was healed of his physical affliction as well as the demon of depression that haunted him. God truly has the power to heal His children. No matter what the problem might be, take it to the Lord.

Today’s thought: My diet affects more than just my body; it affects my heart and mind, as well!

My Thoughts: Amen! we must take care of our body as it’s our ‘investment’ in living life.

Where Did That Come From?

Where Did That Come From?

Our lanai is our favorite place in our house here in our hometown. We love the bamboo seats with outdoor cushions and the fresh air that surrounds the area.  But for the past two days, there is  strong foul odor that can be smelled from the lanai. So, even if we want to sit and chat at the lanai, we had to move to the dining area since we can’t tolerate the smell.

It seems someone threw a dead animal in the river and it got stuck near our area. We have to call the sanitation department to do something about this.
