Health tourism or medical tourism is becoming more and more popular these days with the Asian countries. Of course , with the lower hospital costs here compared from the other western countries plus the exceptional services that we offer, many westerners opt to have their procedures done here in southeast Asia than their own countries.

Malaysia and the Philippines for example are trying to develop their medical tourism programs to attract more tourists to come to the country. For the Americans, the most common destination for them will be Mexico. So they opt for  medical travel Mexico since it’s the nearer to their country and it has been reported that the costs in Mexico is 3 to 4  times lower than the US.
