During my Mommy Holiday, I was reading this book entitled, Ordering Your Private World by Gordon MacDonald. It was a very timely reading for me since I’ve come to a point in my life when my private world or inner life is not that ordered anymore.

There was also a portion there that encourages us to grow in knowledge and wisdom in all things. I must admit that I’ve been negligent on this aspect since I’ve come to a point where in I’m contented with what I know and what I am. But then, we must not only grow in years but in knowledge and wisdom too. Only then our great potentials can be achieved and only then we could become a great blessing to people around us.

With this in mind, I’ve resolved to do certain actions to help me grow in knowledge and wisdom. I need to study more of God’s word intently, read more books, do some online courses maybe and let my mind think! It’s not like I’m doing LSAT prep but I want to achieve what God has purposed me to be. I must not be too complacent but also work to be my best.
