A Health Advice From A 5 Year Old

A Health Advice From A 5 Year Old

I was watching an Episode of ‘ The Biggest Loser’ at Hallmark chanel  the other night with my li’l girl. She was constantly amazed by how big the contestants were and I could hear her say every 5 minutes or so, ” She’s so big”, ” He’s so big”. And finally she told me, ” Amma ( Mom) , don’t eat so much of chocolates and candies ha, because you will become like that!” . Hahah! I’ll have to take that health advice from my 5 year old.

What's an AED?

What's an AED?

I’ve come across this term and searched it in Wikipedia. According to Wikipedia,

An automated external defibrillator or AED is a portable electronic device that automatically diagnoses the potentially life threatening cardiac arrhythmias of ventricular fibrillation and ventricular tachycardia in a patient, and is able to treat them through defibrillation, the application of electrical therapy which stops the arrhythmia, allowing the heart to reestablish an effective rhythm.

This piece of device can truly be a lifesaver to those with heart problems. I’ve read that in some countries they even have AEDs placed in the public places .

New Motivation

New Motivation

My Mom in law just gave me a new Saree. Which means I already have 4 new Sarees that I haven’t worn yet. Since all these Sarees are new ( all of them given to me as gifts), then I have to go to the tailor and have the Saree blouses sewn.

When I just got newly married, I loved wearing Sarees because I was still a bit fit and thin. You see, the Saree shows the silhouette of a woman’s body so, it’s best worn by fit and slim women. And lately, I haven’t been very keen on wearing Sarees due to the fact that I’ve gained some weight and I think it won’t look that nice on me anymore.

So now, I have a new  ‘motivation’ to lose weight and that is so, I could ‘fit’ in my Sarees. :)

Here is an Indian lady wearing saree.. looks so elegant huh?
