Am I really getting that old? I can’t tolerate much noise anymore, I seem to be so forgetful and absent minded, I can’t seem to relate much with the young people these days and guess wughat, I already have a lot of gray hair jutting out from my head.
I like it when someone takes out those gray hair . It’s either my hubby or my li’l girl pulls them out. But as they pull them out, and show me their ‘harvest’ I can’t help but realize the fact that I’m really getting old. At least for women, it’s not common to grow bald when ageing or else we will all panic and be busy looking for a remedy for baldness.
What should I do to stop ageing?
I know I can never stop ageing, since God designed us to grow old physically, mentally and every aspect of our lives. But for beauty’s and health’s sake, we can reduce the visible signs of ageing.
- We can color our hair to cover the grey hair
- We can moisturize our skin to prevent it dryness and sagging. My Mom’s 68 years old now but she doesn’t look her age. Her secret? she’s been using Oil of Olay for ages.
- We can drink a lot of milk rich in calcium to prevent bone defect or osteoperoisis ( and therefore be slouched) as we grow older.
- We can eat healthy food and exercise to be fairly active and alert.
- Smile…laugh and be joyful in everything. Smiling will make us look younger.
As the Bible says, the joy of the Lord is our strength!
There are just so many things that we can do. Oh, posting about this makes me feel like a 50 year old instead of a 30 ++ woman.
