H1N1 and What You Can Do

H1N1 and What You Can Do

H1N1It’s all in the news. A pandemic is declared by the World Health Organization concerning this virus. I’m personally a bit concerned too as to how this will affect our daily activities and our future travel plans.

As I’ve searched through some websites, I saw some good information ( from cdc.gov) on what we can do to stay healthy even with the spread of this virus.

* Stay informed. (Visit websites that contains relevant information about the spread of the virus)
* Influenza is thought to spread mainly person-to-person through coughing or sneezing of infected people.
* Take everyday actions to stay healthy.
o Cover your nose and mouth with a tissue when you cough or sneeze. Throw the tissue in the trash after you use it.
o Wash your hands often with soap and water, especially after you cough or sneeze. Alcohol-based hands cleaners are also effective.
o Avoid touching your eyes, nose or mouth. Germs spread that way.
o Stay home if you get sick. CDC recommends that you stay home from work or school and limit contact with others to keep from infecting them.
* Follow public health advice regarding school closures, avoiding crowds and other social distancing measures.
* Find healthy ways to deal with stress and anxiety.
* Call 1-800-CDC-INFO for more information.

You Are Stylish

You are stylish.

Am I?

This is the result I got when I was trying out a few quizzes in blogthings. The result somehow surprises me because I don’t necessarily see myself as stylish but I’m more on the basic side.

The quiz result further states that I dress well and now what styles work for me though I may have trouble coming out from my comfort zone. And it suggests that I can try to put in a new accessory or try out a different color.

Okay, I’ll have to try to do that.

Anyways, for those who are into fashion and even want to venture into fashion business, you might be interested to know that there’s a good clothing outsourcing in Mexico. But as for me, if ever I could venture into the fashion business, I guess the most I could do is to help in my sister’s silver jewelry business.:)

Day 9 – Self Declared Break

Day 9 – Self Declared Break

If you’ve read my Day 8 of my diet challenge, you must have known that something was going to happen. And yes, the thing that I feared most happened. I broke my diet last night! Huhuhuh! ;)

I was so firm and strong against the temptation of pizza and coke.. until the very last minute, I heed to temptation..YUM!! Hahah!

So, today I’m going to have a self declared break from my diet challenge. . but I will soon resume the challenge after this break. I think 12 days is just too long to be without my sugar and carbo.. But I shall return to my diet.. I shall return..and the challenge continues TOMORROW.
