Leaving the Philippines with a project done has made my Hubby feeling satisfied. Even before going to the Philippines, we have already planned to do something with my Mom’s house near the river.

So my mom and I talked about it when I arrived and she supported the idea of doing something with the house. We started with making a lanai.And when my Hubby arrived, he also did a little bit of more improvements like putting up torches instead of light bulbs around the area, hanging some plants in the lanai area, putting up a hammock and etc.

I could say that my Mom’s house looks a bit better now, especially we already have a place to receive our guests  and a place to just sit and watch the river.

Haaay… blogging about this now makes me miss our house…
