70% Off Sale in National Bookstore

70% Off Sale in National Bookstore

If you’re into books but lacks the budget to buy them, then I guess this is the best time for you to choose through all the books for sale at National Bookstore and buy them. National bookstores have an ongoing clearance sale until April 4.

Last week, I was able to buy a travel book, 1000 Places to See Before you Die,  originally worth 805.00 pesos for only 150 pesos. That was indeed a great deal! I didn’t have much time to look through all the books on sale last week, so I will have to go back there (and go to the other brances too) and look for the other bargain books they have.

If you’re into online Sale, you better check out the weekly deals at buy.com too. They’ve got free shipping and cheap items. Check this out http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6hMda5esWtc  . It’s a funny advertisement of buy.com

Taking Care of Our Li'l Girl

Taking Care of Our Li'l Girl

sick_girlIt’s Sunday morning but my kids and I are at home. We were not able to go to church because my Li’l girl is having fever. She has actually been having low fever ( on and off) for 3-4 days now. We will surely go to the clinic tomorrow to have her checked. We didn’t have her check earlier because we were hoping for her fever to completely disappear. But I don’t know why it persists even if she’s been taking paracetamol for days and she also doesn’t have Tonsilitis. She seems okay and even still a little bit active. But we decided to just let her take a rest at home today. And tomorrow we’re off to the Doctor. Praying that she’ll be okay.

Preparing For Departure

Preparing For Departure

airplaneWe are slowly preparing our daughter’s mindset of her leaving the Philippines – her cousins, friends and relatives. As of now, she’s cool and I guess preparing herself for that day too.

When my Hubby told her that we’re almost leaving and won’t be seeing her cousins for a long time, she then said, ” But I don’t have friend in Thailand who can speak English”. I pity her! But good thing we won’t be going to THailand yet as we’ll be staying in Malaysia for the rest of the months. So, it means she can still have “English speaking’ friends.

We have a few more days before our departure but we still haven’t bought our domestic flight tickets. We find the rates a bit expensive for now, since our flight tickets would cost around 8T Baht including travel insurance. But if there’s no more flight promotions coming, then we’ll have to book those tickets soon.
