I look forward for our weekly time outs or dates with Hubby. It’s really very refreshing to spend at least 2-3 hours a week for us to go out and relax. I’m sure it’s not just healthy for our relationship as Husband and wife but it also takes out the stresses of parenthood.

Yesterday, was our “break” as parents. My Hubby and I went out after lunch when Lyle is off for his nap. We were supposed to watch a movie but then, we didn’t like the movies shown that time. It’s all hard action movies and a Tagalog love story. So, we just decided to go around the mall and hang out. On our way up, we remembered the arcade upstairs called QUantum. So, we went there and ended up playing some games in the arcade and had lots of fun. Actually, we were the only ‘grown ups’ there. The place was filled with high school and elementary kids. But hey, it’s nice to re enact the times we had when we were kids.. So, we were there for quite sometime and ended up winning a total of 445 tickets! And guess what was our prize? A cute, cuddly yellow stuff toy and lollipops. We surely had something to bring for our kids.

So, that was our time out yesterday. I’m looking forward for our time out next week. I hope there’ll be a nice movie this time.
