I went through a mandatory check up for my workplace just a few weeks ago. Well, with my bad eating habits and sedentary lifestyle ( more than 3 months without any form of exercise) , I really didn’t expect myself to have very good results especially in terms of my sugar and cholesterol level.
But thankfully, all of my results are normal except for 1 small thing that I need to have myself re-checked based from my xray. The Dr. said it’s nothing so serious but it’s good to get another angle of that xray just for confirmation. I might have myself checked again next week.
But for now, I have to keep myself healthy and maybe get myself a sportspak in advance to motivate me to go to the gym.
We moved just move in to a new house … to a new country for that matter. It has been almost 3 months now since we moved here in this new country. So, that explains why I’m no longer in the gym. I may enumerate as many excuses now on why I haven’t got back to the gym yet.. but I know all those are just, well… excuses..
But just today, I have decided to do the exercise DVDs. It’s a good start for sure as I’ve noticed that I need extra energy after work. I’m sure exercise can help me get back the ‘spring’ on my steps. Anyways, it’ll be good to set up a speaker wall mount , to boost my mood for exercise. But as for now I have to settle with what I have.
I’ll be off for a week from the gym beca use I’ll be traveling. Just a bit of an update from my fitness journey, I’m still regularly going to the gym but I haven’t been very motivated the past days. I’m not sure whether it’s because of the hormones or lack of results that makes me lazy to go. But, I will continue with this journey, but as of now, I’m looking for some motivation.
I guess my week off will serve as a time for me to reflect on what I’m doing wrong. I even got a fitness book from the 2nd hand shop to get me motivated. Yes, the upbeat music with jackson soloist from the gym failed to keep me excited, so I guess I have to look for other ways of motivation and encouragement.
