Overnight Oats for Lunch

As part of my ‘effort’ in making myself fit, I’ve decided to eat oats for lunch. Yes, lunch .. not breakfast nor dinner. There’s actually another reason for this and which is actually a ‘heavier’ reason for me compared with the ‘fitness’ thing. You see, I’ve started working full time and my work is from 8:30 am-5:30 pm. So, that means I need to take my lunch at the nearby shops near the office. And since we are located at the ‘office district’, the shops there are quite expensive. So, that’s why I found it very convenient to bring my lunch from home and guess what’s the easiest lunch to prepare? Yes, oats.. :)

Anyways, I’m sure this ‘endeavor’ will last longer as I’m more determined to save money than to save my body.. wow! that rhymes! 😉 Anyways, I just really need to start exercising.. I repeat.. I need to start exercising! Even if I’ve searched for the best online music store for my music accompaniment for exercise, but if don’t start.. then nothing will happen.. :(  But at least, I’m making a small change in my diet.

Medical Check Up

Medical Check Up

I went through a mandatory check up for my workplace just a few weeks ago.  Well, with my bad eating habits and sedentary lifestyle ( more than 3 months without any form of exercise) , I really didn’t expect myself to have very good results especially in terms of my sugar and cholesterol level.

But thankfully, all of my results are normal except for 1 small thing that I need to have myself re-checked based from my xray. The Dr. said it’s nothing so serious but it’s good to get another angle of that xray just for confirmation. I might have myself checked again next week.

But for now, I have to keep myself healthy and maybe get myself a sportspak  in advance to motivate me to go to the gym.

Move Update

Move Update

We moved just move in to a new house … to a new country for that matter. It has been almost 3 months now since we moved here in this new country. So, that explains why I’m no longer in the gym. I may enumerate as many excuses now on why I haven’t got back to the gym yet.. but I know all those are just, well… excuses..

But just today, I have decided to do the exercise DVDs. It’s a good start for sure as I’ve noticed that I need extra energy after work. I’m sure exercise can help me get back the ‘spring’ on my steps. Anyways, it’ll be good to set up a speaker wall mount , to boost my mood for exercise. But as for now I have to settle with what I have.
