Field Trips

Field Trips

As a previous homeschool mom, I always make it to a point to give my kids educational field trips like going the the museums. We have originally decided to go on a family field trip at least once a month. So, far we’ve only been to the Money Museum here in Malaysia and we were supposed to go to the Botanic Garden in KL last week, but didn’t push through.

Today, as I was surfing through the net, I found something called the tc electronic hall of fame found at Musicians Friend  . It’s funny because the first thing I thought about was our ‘failed’ field trip last week. Anyways, that electronic hall of fame must be quite famous for musicians. Anyways, back to our family field trip, I wonder where we can go next.

The Big Reminder

The Big Reminder

Sometimes I wonder why I even created this blog when I don’t do a lot of effort in keeping myself fit. But do you know what, I think this blog exists to remind me to be fit. It’s quite funny because this blog ‘encourages’ and ‘reminds’ me of my previous goals and attempts at being fit. And somehow it gives me a certain boost for awhile. So, I guess what I have to do now is to constantly update this blog and really be serious in keeping myself fit. Hahaha! Wishful thinking?

Still No Music Lessons

Still No Music Lessons

After years of wanting my kids to have music lessons, until now they still haven’t done any formal lessons. I was actually reminded of this the other day when we visited our family friend and they had a piano. Then, my son was ‘playing’ it on his own and even asked his friend to teach him. Then, I felt guilty… we were supposed to send them for formal lessons but we haven’t found anyone to teach them yet. It’ll be quite pricey if we go to any music schools. Maybe we can just hire anyone who can come to the house to teach. Not sure if going to guitar center ft myers  will be a good place to find music teachers.
